Former Benton Harbor officer gets no jail time, will pay $625 fine
BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – The judge found Steven Johnson guilty of reckless driving, but not guilty on the charge of assault with a deadly weapon. No jail time. Instead a former Benton Harbor police officer, who hit a fleeing suspect with his patrol car, will pay a $625 fine.
