Defender of the Blue Welcomes Gerry Faber

At Defender of the Blue, we are committed to supporting our law enforcement officers. Many have asked how we manage it all. Sometimes, we wonder ourselves.

We have long been searching for an attorney who shares our passion for defending law enforcement. Today, we are proud to announce that Gerry Faber has joined Defender of the Blue as Of Counsel, providing guidance and support to our clients whenever needed.

Gerry recently retired as a Senior Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Kent County, where he spent over 20 years handling some of Michigan’s most serious criminal cases, including those involving violent crimes, self-defense, and officer-involved incidents.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Gerry brings extensive leadership experience and a deep commitment to public service. He currently serves as Chief Legal Instructor at the Grand Valley Police Academy where he teaches criminal, constitutional, and use-of-force law and he also leads Faber Law PLLC.

Gerry’s expertise and dedication to the law enforcement community makes him a valuable addition to our team and our ongoing mission of defending those who serve and protect.
